Shane's Day

I really felt jipped on mothers day. I had 10 min. with Shane and Liv in the morning with some lively fruit tarts and flowers and then the rest of the day was run, run, run, stress, stress, stress. Sundays were the most stressful day on the mission and now they seem to be the most stressful day of family life too. Especially holidays and birthday celebrations. between church, my family and Shane's; Sundays are hectic. This past Sunday was not too different but Shane can always make the day good.
I Am so lucky to have this guy. He is pretty calm and collected all of the time and is never in much of a hurry if he doesn't have to be at work. He is always willing to lend a hand with Liv if I've gotta spend some time doing other stuff and he is such a good dad. I hope he had a good fathers day because he made my fathers day great knowing that my little girl and any children that follow have a wonderful daddy.

BEACH DAY!!!

So. . . five days later. I tried to post this blog on Saturday but Shane had changed some of the settings on our computer so when I posted this it ended up on the pest control blog. AHH frustration! Any way I couldn't figure out how to save it and put in on the family blog so it was lost . How ever, I have overcome my depression concerning the thing
any you get to see beach day!
Olivia and i went to the beach this last Friday with Erin and Ryan and Collete, Seth, and Brandon. We had a good time and I am proud to say that the only baby girl there was Livi and she was the only not to get scared of the water.
Let's see what fun Liv had.
" Hmm. . .what's this? Pretty color, handle. . . It's a Popsicle
MMMM!!! I love popsi. . .

wait. . . that's not a popsicle.

MOMMY!!!!!"

She was a little disappointed that it didn't turn out to be a popsicle but she got over it.
We cleaned her up and since silly me forgot to bring a shirt for the poor girl we had to put her in one of cousin Ryan's and she ended looking like one of the boys hanging out
with their mom's at the beach.

Till next time , The Hoys.

So... did you know that every time I go to write a new blog I start with "So" and then erase it? Silly eh? Shane is out with our elders right now at a teaching appt. and I was at a loss for something to do having just put Livi down and absolutely no desire to do any house work and every cell of my body screaming out for ice cream and cookies. So here am I. . . blogging. About what though? How about this Obama character. Can't stand the man. I don't much care for Hillary either but at least McCain had a chance of beating her. Honestly, I really don't like him either. What's an American to do? I am a little nervous for what the future hold for my little family with the world and our country in such an awful state. My daughter has to grow up in a world where the majority of the people she'll come in contact with will tell her that homosexuality is a perfectly natural thing. In fact they will tell her that she is a bigot for thinking otherwise. She will be thought more of a prude than you or I when we were young for turning down drugs or waiting until marriage to have a sexual relationship. Condoms will be passed around elementary school classrooms and boys will be in the girls bathroom because they "feel" that they should be girls and should not be discriminated against because they look different than what they are "inside". The temptation for everything evil is getting stronger and the worlds is encouraging it like never before. And a crazy-A leftist liberal is, in this girls opinion, the beginning of the end my friends. In the last few years Barry Obama has polished and cleaned up his act as much as possible to capture the hearts of the people of this country. He is an amazing speech giver and has moved and excited millions, but I guarantee that he will let them down and we will be none the better but worse off at the end of his would be presidency. Next blog topic... Al Gore; the cause of the worlds starvation.

EMMA'S TWO!

Emma's two and boy does she love her veggies! Actually she just likes the ranch on top and when she is done with it she puts in back on the tray for someone else to enjoy it. Sweet huh? She had her birthday party yesterday at a park by her Tauntie Amanda's house in Cardiff. It was pretty fun, I just wish Olivia was big enough to be able to play with all of the big kids at parties.

TAG! I love blog tag :)
How to play this game of tag.

Post these rules on your blog.

List 3 joys, 3 fears, 3 goals, 3 current obsessions/collections, 3 random surprising facts about yourself. Tag 5 people at the end of your post by leaving their names.

3 Joys... 1.Being a wife and a mom. It's all I've ever wanted. 2.Getting time off as a mom and a wife. It's all i ever want. 3. Seeing Shane and Olivia after having time off. I did miss them after all.

3Fears...1.I am so afraid of being home by myself at night. 2. i am afraid of Livi making really bad choices when she is older. 3. Sometimes I am afraid of Shane. Just kidding.

3 Goals... I want to be more organized cuz i stink at it! 2. I'm not a big spender but i need to stick to the budget more if I'm ever gonna get a house of my own. 3. I am going to be a master cake decorator.

3 current obsessions/collections... 1. I too, like Erin, am obsessed with "So You Think You Can Dance". 2. I have just recently become obsessed with my wrinkles. I'm only 25! Why do I even have wrinkles! 3. and i have been collecting cake decorating stuff like crazy! My poor little family gets totally neglected when I'm in the "cake zone" (that was totally dumb).

3 random surprising facts about yourself... 1. I dance around my house when no one else is home. 2 If i could eat an In N Out hamburger for lunch every day. I would. 3. I wish that i had 5 friends to tag.
